EMCOR Group, Inc. Subsidiary Awarded Contract For Installation Of Mechanical Systems For USDA Forest Service
NORWALK, CONNECTICUT, March 3, 2009 - EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that its Kilgust Mechanical subsidiary has received a contract for the installation of mechanical systems for the USDA Forest Service in Madison, Wisconsin.
Kilgust Mechanical will be responsible for the installation of mechanical systems involved in the second phase of a new multi-use laboratory for the USDA Forest Products Lab, an Army Corps of Engineers managed project. The facility, which is located adjacent to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus, utilizes campus chilled water and steam. Kilgust will be installing four air handling units, a large fume collection exhaust fan with custom hoods and enclosures, dedicated wood dust collection system, 33,000 cfm capacity, and an extension of the building fume hood collection system. Kilgust will also be responsible for full building re-commissioning of all mechanical systems, as well as the integration of the building management system.
