Prior to joining EMCOR, Tony held a variety of senior leadership positions at United Technologies Corporation and its subsidiary, Carrier Corporation, the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of commercial and residential HVAC and refrigeration systems and equipment. While at Carrier, he successfully led major programs in a number of areas, including initiatives to increase market share, reduce operating costs, improve financial performance, and evaluate and execute strategic acquisitions.
In 2001, he became President of Carrier’s North American Parts, Distribution and Services Division, a multi-billion dollar entity that provides commercial equipment and controls, and handles sales within identified National Accounts. During his tenure, Tony led Carrier’s development of an integrated controls, service and equipment package tailored to the sophisticated needs of national owners.
In addition, Tony was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. He also served from 1986 to 1991 in the U.S. Army as a Light Infantry Captain and is Ranger qualified.
Tony serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Hubbell Incorporated an international manufacturer of quality electrical and electronic products headquartered in Orange, CT and the ACE Mentor Program, based in Stamford, CT, a unique partnership among industry professionals who work together to attract young people to the construction professions.
Tony holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering and Economics with highest distinction from West Point and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
The Personal Side
Tony enjoys spending time with his family, including two sons and a daughter. He also enjoys coaching his kids' teams, playing golf, running and attending sports events.
