For these awards, 26 industries were chosen based on sales growth, consensus forecasts for long term earnings growth, debt to total capital, stock market returns, corporate governance, accounting standards and background checks.

Fortune Magazine named EMCOR a Fortune 500 company for the ninth consecutive year. The Fortune 500 list evaluates corporate performance based on: revenue, profit, shareholder equity, market value, EPS and total return to investors. This year, EMCOR was ranked 370 from a previous ranking of 407.

ENR magazine (Engineering News-Record) ranked EMCOR #1 among the Top 600 Specialty Contractors for the 19th year. This premier publication of the construction industry ranks companies based on annual dollar revenues.
