EMCOR was awarded an electrical construction contract by Dupont Fabros to assist in the design build and installation of the electrical infrastructure system for a data center in Ashburn, Virginia.
EMCOR Construction Services will install two 35KV primary feeds with eight 5000 KVA 35 KV to 600-volt transformers and eighteen 2250 KW generators. The electrical equipment will supply power to 172,000 square feet of data center space and will include over 100 miles of conduit and 225 miles of wire.
