Pharmaceutical company Schering-Plough needed saturated steam at desired operating conditions to augment their Kenilworth, NJ New Jersey based 24/7 production plant's existing high pressure steam.
Because of a demanding schedule, challenging logistics, and rigorous requirements, the client entrusted EMCOR for the design and construction of the new boiler house and ancillary equipment.
The plant now has an additional 80,000 pounds of steam, with the energy management potential for 160,000 pounds total as production needs increase.
