Anthony J. Guzzi is President and CEO of EMCOR Group, Inc., a publicly held, Connecticut based corporation and the world's largest specialty construction, facilities services and energy infrastructure provider for a diverse range of companies, organizations, and government entities. With estimated 2011 revenues of $5.5 billion, EMCOR is a Fortune 500 firm with more than 26,000 employees. Mr. Guzzi is a graduate with Highest Distinction from the United States Military Academy at West Point; he earned an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School. Previously, Tony held a number of senior positions at United Technologies Corp. and its subsidiary, Carrier Corp. (the world’s leading manufacturer and distributor of commercial and residential HVAC and refrigeration systems and equipment), where he led major programs, including initiatives to increase market share, reduce operating costs, improve financial performance, and evaluate and execute strategic acquisitions. At Carrier, Tony ran both the Commercial business as well as the North American Parts, Distribution and Service businesses. |

Prior to joining United Technologies, Tony was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company. In addition, from 1986 to 1991 Tony served in the U.S. Army as a Light Infantry Captain and is Ranger qualified. Tony serves as a member of the Board of Directors of EMCOR Group, Inc. He also serves as the Lead Director on the Board of Directors of Hubbell, Inc., an international manufacturer of quality electrical and electronic products headquartered in Shelton, CT. Additionally, Tony serves on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors of the ACE Mentor Program, a unique partnership of industry corporations working together to attract young people to the architecture, construction, and engineering professions. Tony enjoys spending time with his family, including two sons and a daughter. He also enjoys coaching his kids' teams, playing golf, and attending sporting events. |
