He joined EMCOR from his post as Carrier's Northeast regional general manager, a role in which he was responsible for the sales and earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) of a $159-millioncommercial services business with 220 salaried and 350 hourly service technicians. He also led project business best practices and growth strategy initiatives. Art holds a bachelor's degree in marine engineering from the United States Merchant Marine Academy. In addition, he has had over 31 years of product, application and systems training in unitary and applied HVAC systems and building automation controls, as well as various courses in sales presentations, negotiating, strategic selling, interviewing and selecting, coaching, and people skills. He has also participated in United Technologies Corporation's Leadership Development Program and ITO University's "Achieving Competitive Excellence" Program. |
