Geoff is responsible for the strategic planning and management of EMCOR’s long-term presence in Canada. He brings a wealth of experience in integrating companies and divisions to maximize client satisfaction.

His organization provides total mechanical and electrical services, from a cross-Canada network of offices and project locations, for public and private buildings, refineries, steel mills, mines, pulp & paper mills, natural gas transmission, power generation, high-voltage overhead and underground power transmission, automotive, petrochemical and public utilities.

Mechanical & Electrical Construction Services Expertise

Geoff offers nearly three decades of mechanical and electrical (M&E) construction industry experience and a proven entrepreneurial track record of leadership and management in the Canadian and international construction industry.

For the past eight years, Geoff has been President of Chrysis Construction Services, Inc., where he provided executive consulting in the construction sector, as well as international purchase, rental and sale of specialized construction machinery. During his tenure, Geoff cultivated an extremely large and broad client base, founded on his long-standing presence in the construction, oil and gas industries.

Under his leadership, Chrysis became a successful and well-respected business that included the restructuring, turnaround, and management of Fasco Rentals in Edmonton, Alberta.

Prior to Chrysis, Geoff was President, CEO and founding shareholder of Spie Construction, based in Alberta, for 10 years. Focused on large diameter pipeline transmission system construction, which included cross-country pipeline work and compressor station construction across Canada, Spie enjoyed a significant market share and served major clients such as TransCanada Pipelines, Nova Corporation, Union Gas, and WestCoast Energy (now Duke Energy).

The commercial energy sector, particularly in the areas of oil and gas production and electricity generation and transmission, is one of EMCOR’s focus markets and Geoff is uniquely qualified to ensure our ambitious goals are achieved when it comes to satisfying our most demanding clients.

He received his degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Toronto. A past Director of the Pipeline Contractors Association of Canada, he is active in a number of professional associations including the Association of Professional Engineers and the International Pipeline Contractors Association.
