Expertise

Mike's expertise within the design and construction services industry includes: specialty contractor operations, complex project management, cost estimating, procurement management and cost control systems. In addition, Mike has effectively managed the acquisition process, selection and post-acquisition integration activities at EMCOR.

In his prior position as EVP of EMCOR's Construction Services division, he was responsible for the operations of the electrical company subsidiaries including the business and bidding strategy development and implementation, preparation and monitoring of budgets, project performance evaluations, implementation of financial and project control systems, and contract management support.

Mike's diverse project experience includes: environmental remediation, wastewater treatment, sludge dewatering, power generation, institutional facilities, and process plants. The services provided range from feasibility studies to engineering, design, procurement, construction management, start-up and operations support.

Mike is an active member of the Construction Industry Roundtable - having held positions such as Director and past President for the New York Metro Section of AACE International; Water Environment Control Federation and the Municipal Engineers Association.

With a passion for knowledge, his educational background includes an MBA in finance from New York University, a bachelor's of electrical engineering degree from City College of New York, and a bachelor's of science degree from the City College of New York. In addition, he's participated in the Management Development Program at Northeastern University.

The Personal Side

Mike enjoys tennis, reading, theater, music and traveling.
