Bill monitors the rigorous internal controls needed to maintain EMCOR’s strong financial performance, high level of ethical integrity, and establish EMCOR as the commercial construction industry leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy and facilities services.

Furthermore, by overseeing the company’s internal auditing procedures and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance efforts, he helps satisfy today’s demanding accounting, regulatory, and other standards, while ensuring the company’s continued ability to deliver high-performance systems and ongoing value to its clients.

Expertise

Bill has been with EMCOR for more than 10 years. During his tenure as Assistant Controller, and later, as Vice President - Controller, Bill played a significant part in building the corporate accounting function.

In 2008, he began managing the group’s compliance procedures, a role that allows him to contribute his extensive knowledge of accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, and acquisition due diligence.

Before joining EMCOR, Bill was Director - Financial Reporting and Corporate Accounting, with Gartner, Inc., an information technology consulting firm. He has also held Senior Auditor positions with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP and Ernst & Young, LLP.

A Certified Public Accountant, Bill earned his bachelor’s degree from Fairfield University. He is a member of both the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and Financial Executives International.

The Personal Side

Bill enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He also likes to play golf and participate in various community organizations.
