EMCOR built and installed critical building infrastructure systems for the new Methodist Hospital Research Institute, which is part of the Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
EMCOR's construction services team installed the Texas medical facility's HVAC, exhaust, heat, recovery, plumbing systems, and medical gas systems to support all functional facility spaces, which will house 420,000 square feet of advanced medical research.
We utilized proprietary cutting-edge 3-D modeling and building information modeling (BIM) technologies for prefabrication construction, coordination among trades, and transfer of critical spatial and technical information to the building construction team.
