EMCOR. When It Comes To Having Fun, Nobody Is More Serious Than We Are.

A fountain with water that dances to music. Ice rinks with laser light shows. Casinos with lighting and HVAC systems that run around the clock because the players don't know the meaning of sleep.

EMCOR builds, powers and services the high-performance facilities and systems that give life to the places where people play and having fun is mission critical.

Mohegan Sun Casino, Connecticut

Challenge: Enhance the resort experience, without disrupting the thriving, 24/7 business, adding more than 500,000 square feet of additional gaming and retail space, a 10,000-seat arena, and a 1,500-room hotel.

Result: Life-safety and HVAC systems were installed in a constantly changing planetarium-ceiling display, plumbing was installed for a lobby waterfall, and subcontractors were managed, for job completion ahead of schedule.

San Diego Museum of Art

Challenge: Protect priceless artwork, viewed by 400,000 visitors annually from the damage that can be caused by normal temperature and humidity changes.

Result: Installed high-tolerance HVAC and humidification systems, using temporary ductwork to protect the art as the old ductwork was removed. Then new high-tech chillers and handlers were connected before removal of the temporary system.

Colorado's Ocean Journey

Challenge: Construct and support exhibits in a 100,000 square foot, 1 million gallon aquarium so visitors can experience its 11 habitats from around the world.

Result: Designed leading-edge technology to support sand filters, protein skimmers and other systems that not only enable fresh and saltwater marine life to thrive but also conserve water.

IMAX Cinema, London

Challenge: Address the air conditioning needs of a unique six-level, drum-shaped, auditorium where the available space for HVAC systems was at a restrictive premium.

Result: Unusually complex air handling equipment was installed in the only available space, a hollow beneath 14 tiers of seats.
