The EMCOR Facilities Diagnostic Solutions team performs benchmarking against facilities in a wide variety of markets and industries. U.S. Senate
Challenge: To determine the condition of piping in five 30-year-old fire-protection systems.

 

Result: Building forensic investigators photographed the inside walls of all five systems by using a boroscope and ultrasonic technology. The pinpointed signs of corrosion, and measured pipe-wall thickness to within a fraction of a millimeter.

Challenge: To conduct regular energy audits and prepare cost-benefit analyses for capital improvements.

 

Result: We monitor natural gas and electric commodity markets and negotiate deals for our client. We scrutinize the utility bills of a portfolio of 70 properties totaling 13 million square feet of office and retail space.
