Mike is one of the driving forces behind the growth and operational excellence of EMCOR’s domestic mobile services business. He has also played a vital role in EMCOR Facilities Services’ rise to its present position as the industry leader.

Expertise

With more than 22 years of experience in the HVAC and controls industry, Mike began building his expertise as a sales manager and sales engineer at Siebe Environmental Controls (presently Invensys). In 1997, Mike moved to United Technologies – Carrier Corporation, where he managed sales and operations functions. As a Carrier Zone General Manager, for example, he was responsible for a $140m commercial services business in the U.S. and a $25m service business in Canada. Experience like this has given him the extensive skills and expertise needed to oversee multiple branch offices and challenging acquisitions, while managing a wide range of professionals, from sales and operations personnel to HVAC engineers.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Science degree in general engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is active in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), the Chicago Building Owners Association, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating & Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) –Chicago Chapter, and the Western Trades Association of Chicago Land Contractors.

Mike enjoys spending time with his family, and is actively involved in sports and community activities.
