British Airways Corporate Security (Multiple Locations Worldwide) – EMCOR subsidiary EMCOR UK is an integral mission critical services supplier to British Airways Corporate Security. Since 1997, EMCOR has designed, installed or maintained security systems for British Airways in passenger and cargo areas of airports in the United Kingdom, United States, Russia, Africa, and Ireland. These include access control systems, intruder alarm systems, perimeter security systems, bespoke vehicle security, and covert security.
Miami International Airport (Miami, FL) – EMCOR subsidiary Dynalectric has provided all security and electrical systems at Miami International Airport’s main parking facility. The project included installing systems at 16 tollbooths, entrance and exit lanes, connecting roadways, and an administration building that included a fire alarm system, closed circuit television cameras, a state-of-the-art License Plate Recognition System tied into a law enforcement agency system, and four miles of underground duct banks. The project also entailed a complete electrical utility upgrade and connecting all new electrical systems into an existing emergency backup generator.
GlaxoSmithKline (Multiple Locations, United Kingdom) – Extending on EMCOR UK’s facilities management contract for GlaxoSmithKline, the Company is providing comprehensive fire and security systems installation and maintenance to its research and development facilities at four sites. Because of the nature of manufacturing and research and development properties run by GlaxoSmithKline, fire and security protection are a mission critical priority for it.
Sears Center Arena (Chicago, IL) – EMCOR subsidiary Shambaugh & Son is providing all fire protection and suppression systems for the Sears Center Arena, an 11,000-seat, multi-purpose entertainment, cultural and sports center that will be home to three professional sports teams.
Client Confidential, Chemical Weapons Detection System (Multiple Locations, U.S.) – EMCOR subsidiary Trimech Corp. provided engineering services for the installation of detection systems for chemical weapons agents and toxic industrial chemicals. Applications included government and high-rise commercial facilities. The work included a full analysis and determination of the appropriate number and location of detection points and their specific installation requirements in addition to recommendations to ensure that the client’s HVAC system responded properly upon notification of an incident.
