Alan ensures that EMCOR's mobile services division delivers the full range of services clients need for successful facilities management in today's competitive environment. Responsible for identifying new growth and business development opportunities nationally and throughout the Southeast, he also oversees acquisition due diligence and implementation, integration of EMCOR's core competencies across its varied businesses, and both national and regional "key business potential" strategies.

Expertise
Alan built his industry expertise from the ground up. While still in high school, he spent his summers as an EMCOR Services Aircond service technician, and during his college years, he worked with the company's engineering group. After college, Alan accepted his first full-time position in the firm's project management/engineering group. From there, he worked his way up through the organization chart, holding posts as project salesperson, chief operating officer and president before moving to EMCOR Facilities Services.

Alan holds a bachelor's degree in physics from Furman University, and both a bachelor's in mechanical engineering and a master's in business from Georgia Tech.

The Personal Side
Alan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, as well as flying, scuba diving, hunting and fishing.
