John, with over 35 years of construction finance and management experience, oversees the financial operations and administrative management of EMCOR’s electrical, mechanical and fire protection businesses.

Expertise

By John’s application of sound accounting principles, his extensive construction knowledge, his proven track record as an astute business manager, and in mentoring partnership with Mike Parry, President of EMCOR Construction Services, the Company enjoys consistent outstanding performance from its electrical, mechanical and fire protection businesses.

Under his guidance, construction services operating units have embraced the use of EMCOR’s National Purchasing Program, have excelled with much improved management information systems supported by training and dedicated support from John’s staff, and have continued to strengthen business processes because of focused management training and development.

Prior to John’s current role, he was VP, Finance and Administration and Group Controller for Dynalectric Company, one of the Company’s key operating companies, home to 13 Dynalectric operating units. Dynalectric grew from a regional contracting organization to become a national electrical specialty contracting company with operations throughout the United States.

John is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the state of Virginia and holds a B.S. Degree with a major in Accounting from LaSalle University, Philadelphia, PA.

The Personal Side

John’s personal interests include spending time with his wife and two grown children, traveling, Broadway theatre, and especially exploring quaint wineries across the United States.
