Bob is responsible for the planning and direction of all aspects of EMCOR’s operational policies, objectives and initiatives in Canada.  He directs the development of the organization to ensure future growth and high client satisfaction. Ultimately, our clients’ satisfaction depends on his team’s ability to execute.

Expertise

With a passion for the industry, Bob brings more than 30 years experience and a proven track record of leadership within the electrical/mechanical construction industry.

For the past five years, Bob has been President of a major industrial/commercial construction company with the primary responsibility to develop and expand its industrial division, which had been experiencing six years of unfavorable results.  Under his leadership and ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships, Bob negotiated major contracts that expanded the business and client base.

As Vice President and General Manager of the Toronto Region for Comstock Canada Ltd., Bob managed multi-million fast track projects, general contracting and ongoing retrofit maintenance work. He was able to develop and implement company-wide cost controls and risk management procedures resulting in successful execution of projects.

In addition to being Gold Seal certified by the Canadian Construction Association, Bob holds both an Industrial Electrician Certificate and an Interprovincial Seal for Electrical Construction and Maintenance.   Bob has been on the executive board of many prestigious associations including the Mechanical Contractors Association of Hamilton, Toronto and Ontario, Electrical Contractors Association of Toronto and Ontario and the Toronto Construction Association.

The Personal Side

Bob enjoys spending quality time with his three daughters and is involved in various charitable organizations for the underprivileged.  He’s an avid sportsman including golf, squash and skiing.
