Tom applies his extensive experience from the electrical control industry to his role as the engineering technical leader on the design, fabrication and installation of control systems as well as conveyor systems.
Expertise
Tom offers over 30 years of industry experience with expertise in operational management, estimating and sales, control systems design, and electrical contracting. From 1982 to 1997 he was the Vice President and owner of CDI Electric Inc., which was acquired by KDC Systems to expand into the material handling and custom control panel fabrication markets.
Illustrative of Tom’s capabilities are some key projects with which he was involved:
- Installation of overhead monorail conveyor system to convey 5000 lb. Paper rolls to printing presses for the L.A. Times
- Engineer, fabricate and install control system to convey hazardous munitions for de-commissioning across various national sites for Conus-Jcads, Department of Defense
- Engineer, fabricate and install control system for tracking and conveying all products from picking through shipping across various national parts warehouses for American Honda Motor Company
- Engineer, fabricate and install control system for 2-liter bottle and can filling lines for Pepsi Cola Bottling
- Engineer, fabricate and install control system for conveying Boeing 777 aircraft electrical harness assemblies
- Engineer, fabricate and install multiple control systems for robotic palletizing of packaged noodles at Marachun plant
- Engineer, fabricate and install control system for high-speed sortation of products from picking through shipping for Sketchers
Tom has achieved I.B.E.W. Local 11 Apprentice training LATTC as well as his I.B.E.W. Journeyman Wireman education. He also holds a license in electrical contracting.
