Dave's engineering expertise enables him to help clients transform difficult design and analysis issues into opportunities for increasing facility performance, lowering energy and other costs, and improving return on investment. In addition to designing premier HVAC systems, he oversees delivery of reliable, responsive plumbing and piping systems that satisfy clients' most demanding volume and safety requirements. A specialist in field troubleshooting and commissioning, he regularly performs final project check out and commissioning to ensure that all equipment has been properly installed for effective, long-lasting operation.

Expertise
Dave brings extensive industry experience and in-depth engineering expertise to every project. Before joining DeBra-Kuempel, he worked for a consulting firm, where he helped clients resolve a range of issues pertaining to industrial, as well as research and development facilities. He has also been a project manager/engineer for a design/build-contracting firm that specialized in light industrial and commercial buildings. In addition to his knowledge of chillers, compressors and condensers, his expertise includes feasibility/cost estimating, stress analysis, and laboratory and commercial kitchen design.

A member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the American Society for Healthcare Engineers (ASHE), Dave holds both bachelors and masters degrees in mechanical engineering from the University of Cincinnati.
