Value Delivered
Eric ensures that clients get the well-designed, properly installed heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems they need for comfortable, productive facilities and long-term value. During preconstruction, he performs load calculations, assists with equipment selection, and sizes ductwork and piping. Once a project begins, he acts as primary customer liaison, manages subcontractors, oversees materials deliveries, and monitors schedules and budgets. When the project is complete, he initiates the commissioning process. The result is the end-to-end customer care required for maximum client satisfaction and strong long-term relationships.
Expertise
Backed by 20 years of experience, Eric has extensive HVAC design and project coordination expertise. He began as an apprentice doing field installation work with Creighton Laircey, Co., where he later became a project estimator. Prior to joining Aircond in 1994 as a project manager, he was a field engineer with Johnson Controls World Services.
Eric holds a bachelor's in mechanical engineering technology from Georgia Southern University. He has qualified for professional engineering licenses in Georgia and North Carolina, as well as a Georgia unrestricted conditioned air license. A member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), he is LEED accredited by the United States Green Building Council.
The Personal Side
Eric is married, and enjoys playing golf and tennis, going snow skiing and doing home improvements.
