Value Delivered
Clayton combines field experience, management expertise and a high level of integrity to deliver completed projects that consistently exceed clients' expectations. Acting as the client's single point of contact, he is responsible for all project activities, including purchasing, scheduling materials deliveries, managing subcontractors, negotiating change orders, and monitoring budgets and schedules. The result is on-time, on-budget completion of a wide variety of high-quality projects, many of which have garnered significant awards. For example, his Colorado's Ocean Journey project won the Associated General Contractors' Ace Award as 1999's project of the year and the Silver Merit Award for most difficult project over $6 million. Recently, McGraw-Hill's Colorado Construction magazine named his Children's Hospital project recipient of the 2007 Gold Hard Hat Award.

Expertise
Clayton started his 25-year career working with a small local plumbing firm. After joining the United Association of Plumbers & Pipefitters, he began his apprenticeship with Trautman & Shreve, where he later worked his way up through the ranks as a journeyman, superintendent and project manager. His first project management assignment was the main terminal at Denver International Airport. Regardless of a project's size or complexity, however, Clayton provides the experienced management and thorough documentation required to ensure effective project integration, coordination and scheduling. In addition, his solution-driven approach helps him identify and address unforeseeable problems and provide effective remedies.

Certified by the National Inspection, Testing and Certification Corporation (NITC) as a medical gas brazer and medical gas installer, Clayton is also certified as a project manager by the Mechanical Contractors Association of America's (MCAA's) Project Management Institute.

Clayton is a licensed journeyman plumber, a LEED NC-accredited professional, and a contractor representative to the local United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters' Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC).

The Personal Side
Clayton and his wife have two sons. In addition to spending time with his family, he enjoys reading, chess, poetry and theater. He also likes to watch football and attend his sons' soccer matches.
