EMCOR Group, Inc. Subsidiary Receives Contract From Andrews Air Force Base To Provide Operations & Maintenance For Hospital & Medical Support Facilities
NORWALK, CONNECTICUT, December 18, 2007 - EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses globally, announced that its subsidiary has received a three-year contract from the United States Air Force to provide operations and maintenance service for the Malcolm Grow Hospital and 21 other medical support buildings at Andrews Air Force Base in Camp Springs, Maryland.
EMCOR Government Services (EGS) will provide full service maintenance on all HVAC equipment, elevators, fire and security systems, and kitchen equipment at the facilities, as well as some grounds maintenance. EGS will also provide preventive maintenance services for emergency generators, the electrical distribution system, medical gas, the building envelope, plumbing, nurse call, and morgue.
