Gateway Security In today’s climate of heightened security, the George Washington Bridge and the Lincoln and Holland tunnels are more than just landmarks. They are gateways to the city that rely on the latest technology to keep them safe. EMCOR worked with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to provide an integrated 21st century system of communication, power, lighting, and security solutions. Work included installation of fiber optics, fire alarms, CCTV, intercom, and intrusion detector systems across job sites in locations up to 15 miles apart—all with minimal disruption to Greater New York City traffic. |
