Value Delivered
Applying his broad base of experience, Larry ensures that his projects meet both the company's high standards and its clients' most demanding performance objectives. At job sites and meetings with client and project teams, he works with the company's project managers to make certain they are completing all installations on spec, following all safety and other key operating procedures, and maintaining client schedules and budgets.

In addition, he helps drive continuous improvement in the company's estimating and cost control procedures. In the sheet metal shop, for example, he has helped develop an innovative system that monitors and measures the rates at which the shop manufactures various types of ductwork. The result is historical data the firm can use to increase productivity and enable more accurate estimating. In each case, Larry combines integrity, teamwork and results, enabling the company to exceed customers' expectations and earn their repeat business.

Expertise
After obtaining his bachelor's in civil engineering from California Polytechnic State University, Larry joined Marelich's Bay Area office as a project engineer, later becoming a project manager. A promotion to senior project manager took him to the company's Sacramento office, where he subsequently held operations manager and project executive positions before returning to the Bay Area in his current post.

Through his experience on a wide variety of large, complex commercial jobs, he has demonstrated an outstanding ability to assemble the right team for each project's unique requirements and build effective team communication. Furthermore, by including clients on his project teams, he maintains positive client relationships, a key factor in Marelich's high rate of client retention.

A LEED-accredited professional, Larry belongs to the U.S. Green Building Council and the Design Build Institute of America. He is also a member of the Association of General Contractors and has served on the board of its Sacramento organization.

The Personal Side
Larry enjoys spending time with his wife, Reagan, and their son, Cash. He also likes to go mountain biking, surfing and snowboarding.
