As part of the senior management team and head of the service team at EMCOR Services Northeast, Gregg works closely with the Service Managers to assure quality service is given to all of our customers. He plans, directs and coordinates the efforts of the service personnel to ensure that repairs and maintenance programs offered by EMCOR Services Northeast satisfy the customer's requirements. Gregg oversees the safety program and training of the field technicians and ensures all work is performed in accordance with OSHA and governmental laws and regulations. He also oversees daily maintenance and repairs, researches contracts that are performing outside of their budgeted parameters, meets with customers to provide solutions to problems and spends time assisting field technicians.
Expertise
Gregg has worked in the service industry since 1979 when he was hired by CommAir as an apprentice. For the next 15 years, Gregg worked on various types of HVAC equipment including large tonnage rooftop units, mechanical chillers, absorption chillers, large boilers, building energy management systems, pneumatic control systems, industrial and commercial refrigeration equipment and variable speed drives. In 1994, Gregg accepted the position of Assistant Service Manager where he was responsible for training and assisting the field technicians. Gregg was promoted to his current position as Vice President of Service in January of 2005.
Gregg graduated from Northeast Institute of Technology in 1978. He then completed the four year Local 537 apprentice training program. He has also attended numerous training seminars and manufacturer's training courses on specific types of equipment. He holds a Massachusetts Refrigeration Contractors license and an Oil Burner Technician license.
The Personal Side
Gregg enjoys spending time in New Hampshire with his wife Susan and his four children. He also likes skiing and boating with his family.
