Contractor Magazine ranked EMCOR #1 in the 2006 Book of Giants, for the 19th year in a row. The ranking consisted of strong performance in all of the measured categories, including HVAC, refrigeration, water/wastewater treatment, sheet metal, and controls/TAB.

Washington Business Journal ranked EMCOR as the Largest Engineering Company in the D.C. Metro area. This marks the fourth year in a row that the Company has earned this recognition based on engineering's billings.

EC&M magazine (Electrical Design, Construction & Maintenance) ranked EMCOR #1 in the Top 50 Electrical Contractors survey. Based on dollar sales volume, EMCOR was 3 times larger than the #2 company in the survey.
Pipe Trade Giants
EMCOR was ranked #1 in the Pipe Trade Giants survey in PM magazine (Plumbing & Mechanical) for the 11th time. EMCOR was more than 5 times larger than the #2 company in the survey based on dollar sales volume.
Top 100 Contractors of the Year
PHC News magazine named EMCOR #1 in the Top 100 Contractors of the Year survey for the second year in a row. This survey has only been conducted for the last two years and EMCOR has been named #1 for both of these years.
