Inside Washington, D.C. With the flawless performance of so many complex systems at stake, no wonder the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center in Washington sought EFS' expertise in government facilities management. The facility has 135 major air handlers; 90 elevators and escalators; 2,500 miles of wiring and seven emergency generators; and a 6,800-sensor fire alarm and suppression system. EFS has full operations & maintenance (O&E) responsibility for these and other systems. Besides integrating materials, quality control, warranty information, and subcontractor requirements, we staffed the site early to help optimize the commissioning process. |
