LEED HVAC Mechanical Systems Installation Services Texas - U.S. Armed Services Reserve CenteNORWALK, CONNECTICUT, October 27, 2009 - EMCOR Group, Inc. (NYSE: EME), a Fortune 500® leader in mechanical and electrical construction, energy infrastructure and facilities services for a diverse range of businesses, announced that its Gowan, Inc. subsidiary has been awarded a contract for the installation of HVAC mechanical systems at the United States Armed Services Reserve Center on the Ellington Air Force Base in Houston, Texas.

Gowan will be responsible for the installation of HVAC mechanical systems required for the Armed Services Reserve Center project consisting of seven new buildings: Training Center, Battle Projection, Welcome Center, Maintenance Shop, Security Building and two Storage Buildings. Gowan's scope of work includes installation of the chilled water with heat recovery units, heating only systems, and exhaust systems. The project will be built to LEED principles and requirements.
