EMCOR performed both the electrical and mechanical (M&E) construction services for the expansion of Xilinx, Inc.'s data center in Longmont, Colorado.
We managed the mechanical, electrical and general construction for the project, which included the demolition and build-out of 10,000 square feet of existing office space.
We installed new electrical systems, including 3000 Amp service, redundant 750 KVA UPS systems, a 2250 kW generator, four 22 KVA PDUs, and all associated electrical distribution piping and cable.
EMCOR also provided mechanical services for the construction project, including commercial HVAC installation, consisting of 360 tons of cooling as well as future taps to expand the central utility plant to a total of 540 tons of cooling and 720 tons of free cooling.
