Dan’s passion and continuous pursuit of operational excellence has positioned the growing EMCOR facilities services business to be the premier supplier of interior, exterior and trades services to a diverse range of commercial clients seeking value, quality and energy efficiency.

His vision has led to expanding the delivery of facilities services from supplier management and service centers to self-perform models. Working closely with each client he has crafted and executed solutions that leverage our resources to achieve their specific needs of responsiveness, monitoring, data analytics, reporting and cost savings.

Expertise

Dan’s leadership talent was honed early during his deployment Operation Desert Storm. In his subsequent tenure with industry leaders General Electric Motors, United Technologies and Carrier Corporation, he led numerous critical continuous improvement and productivity initiatives that utilized and leveraged his extensive capabilities with “Work-Out”, Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE), Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Total Quality Management, global sourcing, and outsourcing strategies.

In one key role, he spearheaded the transition of over $400M in spend to effect an international manufacturing relocation. Since joining EMCOR Facilities Services in 2006 he has infused the tools and processes to effect substantial gains in customer satisfaction, productivity and employee effectiveness.

Given his extensive experience with procurement and continuous improvement he was able to refine and enhance the value proposition of Supplier Management for key national accounts. Most recently, he has expanded and energized our facilities maintenance solutions.

In addition to his oversight of the Viox Services offerings, he will also assume oversight of the USM business, following the closing of the acquisition in late June, 2011. Dan holds a master’s in management from Rensselaer Polytech Institute and a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point.

He has also participated in leadership development programs conducted by United Technologies at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, as well as several programs at General Electric’s infamous Crotonville.

The Personal Side

Dan and his wife Laura have been married since 1989 and currently reside outside of Philadelphia, PA. They have two young sons. He enjoys coaching youth sports and playing golf.
