Peter is responsible for the management, implementation, and usability of EMCOR’s national information technology (IT) network and operations.

His work includes oversight of multiple data centers and data center operations, telecom and network contracts, and the company’s messaging/email system and help desk, as well as custom applications and the centralized IT procurement function.


Peter began his career in the industry working as an electrician and engineering intern while attending college. After graduation, he worked for a number of the country’s largest oil, engineering, and manufacturing companies, before joining EMCOR in 1998 as a Program Manager with the facilities service division.

Since then, Peter has held multiple IT management positions with EMCOR and its subsidiaries, including Vice President of Systems and Technology at EMCOR Facilities Services and Senior Director of IT for EMCOR Group.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Washington State University. He completed coursework toward an MBA at St. Mary’s College of California, and attended executive education and technical seminars at UCLA, Stanford, Northwestern, Babson, and the Thayer Leader Development Center at West Point. 

He is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and is a registered Professional Electrical Engineer in California and Washington.

In his downtime, Peter enjoys hiking, adventure motorcycle riding, skiing, and driving.
