Communities for a Cause
EMCOR’s long history of corporate responsibility is built on a commitment to touch the lives of people in meaningful ways. In the communities in which we work, EMCOR companies believe in getting involved.
You’ll find our people engaging in a variety of charitable causes, community outreach programs, and other philanthropic activities in their local markets. Here are some examples of the work we do in our local communities.

Bahnson Mechanical Systems' employees participated in the Brothers in Blue Clay Shoot to support the 809 Foundation which honors Detective Micheal R. Doty, who was killed in the line of duty. The foundation provides substance abuse services and youth mentoring, and promotes community unity.

Dynalectric L.A. employees collected donations for the Savanna School District’s back-to-school supply drive, supporting four elementary schools that serve approximately 2,400 students.

To support the Corpus Christi Police Athletic League (CC-PAL) in encouraging youth self-esteem and leadership, Repcon employees purchased lunches for Valero’s Community Lunch Fundraiser. The funds benefited CC-PAL and the lunches were donated to The Ark Assessment Center & Emergency Shelter for Youth and the Mother Teresa Shelter.

Along with their President and CEO, Dorin Nicorici, Dynalectric Oregon employees volunteered with the Oregon Food Bank. They packaged fresh produce and dry goods and distributed them to community members via a socially-distanced drive-through.

Air Systems, Inc. provided plumbing support for LifeMoves' homeless housing project in Mountain View, California. Foreman Sonny Maciel and Journeyman Mariano Aguliar put in a lot of hard work, handling multiple plumbing installations for clothes washers and accessible showers.

For more than 20 years, Shambaugh's staff and family members have joined hundreds of volunteers throughout the Greater Fort Wayne, Indiana area for the Great American Cleanup®. This annual mission supports the largest community improvement program in the nation.

Diamond Refractory Services raised funds for BCBF, Inc. at the 6th annual Crawfish Bash in Texas. BCBF is a non-profit that partners with local charities to benefit veterans, children, and the disabled.

Each year, Forest Electric New Jersey supports the Corporal Kevin James Reinhard USMC Memorial Fund by participating in their golf event. In 10 years, $750,000 has been raised for local scholarships, Wounded Warriors, Tunnels to Tower, St. Jude's and other charities.

Members of the Tucker Mechanical team volunteer throughout the year for Veterans Base Camp (VBC) in Chaplin, Connecticut. They’ve worked to renovate cabins and the main house where residents gather. VBC supports veterans, first responders, and caregivers with counseling and life planning.

Southern Industrial Constructors participated in the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering Carolina-South Atlantic Chapter's 26th Annual Golf Tournament. Their sponsorship contributed to the Jane Brown Scholarship Fund that encourages students seeking careers in life sciences.
